Kingman Turquoise Cabochon Ring - Modern Sterling Silver Setting
by Marie Jackson
Marie Jackson was born in her grandmother’s Hogan near Ganado. When Marie was 17, she worked at the famous Hubbell’s Trading Post, a 1/2 mile walk from her home. It was there that she fell in love with Native American artistry and learned to weave.
It was there that she met then-salesman Tommy Jackson, now a world-famous silversmith and her loving husband. Marie makes her own jewelry and often signs it, “Marie” in addition to the familiar "Jackson" script stamp they share.
They still live in Ganado and many of their children and grandchildren live nearby.

The Kingman Turquoise Mine is the last full-time production mine in the United States. Believe it or not, turquoise was mined from this area as far back as 1000 AD during the Mayan turquoise boom! Wear a piece of ancient history with this Kingman Turquoise Jewelry!
