Royston Turquoise in Sterling Silver Bear Paw Ring by Marie Jackson
Navajo silversmith Marie Jackson was born in Ganado, Arizona. Marie got her start as an artist after she was exposed to demonstrations of Navajo rug weaving. Both she and her husband Tommy Jackson create beautifully hand-crafted pieces of art using various techniques.
The Royston turquoise mine is located 20 miles north of Tonopah, Nevada. Today it's becoming scarce, as it is only mined in limited quantities. Royston turquoise can range from light blue to emerald green and is often two-toned, with a medium to golden brown matrix.
