Fall Into Something New!

October invites us to begin again. A new season brings new energy, new possibilities, and the opportunity to step beyond the familiar.

This month, we’re embracing the spirit of falling into something new — making space for fresh experiences, following our curiosity, and finding inspiration in the unexpected.

Sometimes, all it takes is one small change to open the door to something wonderful.

This fall, Jenee is getting creative with a little Southwest inspiration as she tries her hand at making Thunder Gourds! With roots in an age-old craft, gourds have long been shaped into useful vessels, musical instruments, and beautiful works of art.

Thunder Gourds are especially intriguing for the deep, rumbling sound they create—reminiscent of a distant desert storm rolling across the mountains. Follow Jenee’s journey on Facebook and Instagram as she learns, creates, and brings this unique fall project to life!

Apache Jii Festival

Enjoy Native arts and crafts, traditional foods, music, and captivating dance performances during this long-standing celebration of Apache culture and heritage. This event is located at Harbison Field, 125 S. 6th St., Globe, AZ.
