Based on a true story – Created for second Language Learner of all ages – Ana’s family moved to the United States and now Ana was faced with learning in a new language and learning to read English.

Come along with Billy the Buffalo and His Bride Barbara as the changing seasons of the West unfold around them. This book introduces children to a buffalo family who roams the Western Regions of the United States. Beautiful skies, vast mountain ranges, and the changing seasons, all skillfully designed to enhance natural curiosity as the reader becomes part of the wonder of nature.

Elmer the Elf Owl is a charmingly illustrated story of a tiny owl's search for the best possible place to call home for him and his mate, Ellie. By carefully watching a woodpecker search for food, Elmer follows along to explore several locations in which to nest. The Southwestern desert is filled with so many possibilities for an Elf Owl to live; he must choose carefully to find the strongest, highest, and most secure place.

When spring insisted - it was time, the cycle of spring turning into summer began across the southwest, and a burst of energy and color appeared everywhere across the land. The call to the pollinators has been heard and the pollination cycle begins. The caterpillars have turned to chrysalises and butterflies emerge, the bees buzz around their hives, as the hummingbirds, and other insects and birds go to work.

Harrison and the Hummingbird is a beautifully illustrated story of a hummingbird’s startling encounter with the family’s feline. Crafted with rich vocabulary, this unexpected true-life adventure offers clear exposition, sequencing, and transition words in a basic introduction to the elements of literature.

Set in the beautiful southwestern desert region this story follows two Roadrunners working together to build a nest as the story and illustrations move from day to night sunrise and sunset — with stark visualization.
