Behind every great store is a group of dedicated people who bring it to life every day. We’re proud to say ours is no exception! What you see on the shelves is only part of the story. The real magic happens behind the scenes, where passion, teamwork, and a commitment to service come together. Meet our team and discover what they enjoy most about working at the Pickle Barrel Trading Post.

When Lori retired, she started looking for a part-time job—just something to earn a little fun money. She had no idea she’d stumble onto something so perfect! "I get to do a job I truly enjoy, surrounded by great bosses and fabulous co-workers. It doesn’t even feel like work most days—just good people and a place I'm proud to be part of."

Leslie takes pride in helping customers find the perfect piece of jewelry, guiding them toward selections that reflect their personal style and story. She genuinely enjoys the moment when someone discovers just the right item. In addition to jewelry, Leslie also has a great eye for hats and can help you pick out the perfect one for any occasion.

Marella loves greeting customers and learning where they’ve traveled from. She especially enjoys welcoming those who return year after year to visit the Pickle Barrel Trading Post, and she takes pride in sharing the unique experiences the shop has to offer.

When a position opened at her favorite store, Michelle didn’t hesitate and knew it was the right time to apply. It’s easy to see why she loves it—"everyone walks through the door with a smile on their face." The welcoming, upbeat atmosphere and friendly customers create a strong sense of connection and community. The supportive owners and staff make every day meaningful.

Maria’s favorite part of her work environment is the incredible team she gets to be part of. “The wonderful work family we have. The way everyone’s strengths are recognized and used to build a solid team where each person can shine. With new items, fresh ideas, and new customers every day, it’s never dull or routine."

One of the most exciting parts of Paula’s day is meeting the incredible people who walk through our doors. “Meeting people from around the globe in Globe is a highlight!” Visitors come from South Africa, Italy, Paris, Germany, Sweden, Ireland, Australia, Indonesia, London, Switzerland, and beyond—not to mention guests from across the United States and our wonderful local community.

No matter where you’re from, there’s something here for everyone. You never know what you’ll discover. Our sign says it best: “You Won’t Believe What’s Inside!"

Lilly enjoys the sense of community she gets to be part of every single day. "Whether catching up with our regular customers or meeting those just passing through, every interaction is meaningful in its own way. I’ve been so lucky to connect with such kind, open people—and to learn something new from them all the time. And let’s be honest… getting to work around beautiful jewelry every day definitely doesn’t hurt!"

Seth is drawn to the rich history of the building and the authentic Western atmosphere that makes the Pickle Barrel so unique. He enjoys connecting with customers, hearing their stories, and learning where they come from. One of his favorite parts of the job is seeing the interesting and one-of-a-kind items people bring in to sell.

Syd loves being part of such a friendly, welcoming community of customers who are always open to learning something new. She also truly values the strong sense of belonging she shares with the Pickle Barrel team. "It’s what makes every day so special!"
