Horsehair pottery is a unique and striking technique used in ceramics where horsehair is applied to pottery that is fired in a kiln. The result is a beautiful, organic texture and pattern on the surface of the pottery.



Native American jewelry is known for its intricate craftsmanship, symbolism, and cultural significance. Made from a variety of materials like silver, turquoise, coral, and shell, these pieces often reflect the deep connection Native American peoples have with nature, spirituality, and their heritage.



A copper splash is literally as it sounds: molten copper, heated to 2200 degrees Fahrenheit, is splashed onto a stainless steel table, then doused with cold water and allowed to cool. The piece is then scoured with a blowtorch, which maximizes the coloration of various areas of the surface with striations and swirls of bright purple, magenta, orange, gold and the rarest color, blue.

If you're making the trip Tuesday-Thursday, check for road closure updates on Highway 60 first. You can get updates from ADOT. If you need an alternate route, there are several options: Highway 77 to Highway 177, Highway 188 to Highway 87, or if you are feeling especially adventurous, you can take the infamous Apache Trail.
