Tufa Cast Coral Ring by Rebecca Begay
This ring is an outstanding example of the fresh and nuanced work by Navajo designer Rebecca Begay. The one of a kind ring was created by casting sterling silver in a soft volcanic rock known as tufa stone. At the top of the band sits a flower featuring an enticing piece of coral. Begay uses oxidization to create contrast in the silver, which allows light to play and linger. Because tufa stone is so soft, it's rare to get more than one ring from each mold, which means you won't find another bracelet exactly like this!
