Navajo (Diné) artist Ronnie Willie learned the art of silversmithing from his oldest brother, Lonnie. In addition to creating jewelry, Ronnie makes kachinas and does sand painting, sand casting, rock sculpture, and woodcarving. He often makes his own tools and works as a silversmith five days a week in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ronnie is known for his contemporary designs in jewelry. This large bracelet has been oxidized for dramatic contrast and adorned with thirty sterling silver studs.
