Internationally known Navajo (Diné) jewelry designer Tommy Jackson, from Chinle, Arizona, learned the art of silversmithing from his parents, Martha and Gene Jackson. He is known for merging traditional Navajo designs with modern-day aesthetics in his dynamic jewelry.
The Royston turquoise mine is located 20 miles north of Tonopah, Nevada. Today it’s becoming scarce, as it is only mined in limited quantities.
