This gorgeous ring by Tommy Jackson features pieces of Kingman Turquoise and Spiny Oyster shell, surrounded by a masterfully crafted and polished sterling silver setting, stamped with the artist’s trademark on the back.

The Kingman Turquoise Mine is the last full-time production mine in the United States. Believe it or not, turquoise was mined from this area as far back as 1000 AD during the Mayan turquoise boom!

Spiny Oyster is a vibrant spondylous shell that comes exclusively from the Gulf of California in Northwest Mexico. This striated beauty comes in a range of colors from red to orange to purple. These stunning mollusks are harvested by hand, which is both grueling and risky. Add a pop of color to your wardrobe with this special gem!

Internationally known Navajo jewelry designer Tommy Jackson, from Chinle, Arizona, is known for merging traditional Navajo designs with modern-day aesthetics in his dynamic jewelry. He learned the art of silversmithing from his parents, Martha and Gene Jackson.
